Brett Lee
Since the retirement of Glen Mcgrath, Brett Lee is now the spearhead of the Australia bowling line up. He has the extra responsibility of ripping in to the other teams batsmen and so far he seems up for the challenge. Against Sri Lanka he began to bowl well. He hasn't bowled this well since he burst onto the scene with a five wicket haul on debut against India at the MCG, in the boxing day test.
He regularly bowls at speeds of up to 155 km/h. And for a real paceman, his line and length has improved. This has made him a real force in international cricket. There have been a lot of guys bowling at his express pace in the history of the game, but not many have been able to maintain the line and length that he regularily achieves.
Brett Lee has over 200 test wickets. You can expect him to get around 500 test wickets by the time he retires. Another product of the great Australian domestic system, which is producing an abundance of superstars. He is a big hit in Bollywood and recently made a film clip for his millions of Indian fans.
He should perform in the upcoming test and one day series against India. He is the spearhead, and he likes it. A player excelling under responsibility.
