It must be said Pakistan played really well to beat India in the second one day international and level the series. Although it does ease the pressure on the captain Shoaib Malik a bit. However i would like to say the win had minimal influence from the captain and it had more to do with Shahid Afridi and Younis Khan two superstars in there own right. Younis played well, out scoring Sachin who hit 99 in the Indian innings. However there was 34 required off 18 balls at the end. And Afridi came to the party. Hitting three fours in a row and then smacking a six to win his side the game. He has well and truely made up for loosing his team the series vs South Africa. He has also been climbing the ICC rankings, as he is now the 15th best ODI bowler and top 40 batsmen and the number 5 all rounder. He is still well behind Kallis and Flintoff though. This series is massive like all India vs Pakistan series and India have the edge. Although there going to have to stop Pakistani superstars such as Afridi and Khan from scoring and winning their teams the game. I have been searching for video of Afridi scoring 29 off 14 balls, and his career strike rate is now 110, the highest of all time. Although i haven't been able to find much, except for a short highlights video on pakpassion.
